A year ago President Barack Obama was elected and what a difference a year makes. Reality has begun to set in for him. Mr. President the honeymoon is over! He came to power with great expectations and it has begun to fizzle out. The time for rhetoric is over and the facts tell the real story. Ten percent of the workforce is unemployed , and his coveted creation of a national health service seems elusive, With a projected cost of $1,055 trillion over 10 years is hard to swallow. It will put America into a level of debt that is frightening.

At home he has put down the Tea Parties, and August Town Hall rebellions by Americans. He refuses to listen or care. The Military feels abandoned and he has yet to make a decision on Afghanistan. Internationally his popularity his waning. He won a Noble Peace Prize for promises and gave up the missile defense system in eastern Europe for a promise from Russia in return. Promises don’t count!!! He had no business going to Copenhagen to secure the 2016 Olympics, which failed. He has gone abroad and apologized for what he perceives as or misdeeds.

American Jews who voted for him find it hard to believe he is turning his back on Israel. His administration wants us to turn in friends and neighbors who we know are tax cheats but Timothy Geithner Obama’s Treasury Secretary admitted openly he didn’t pay taxes.

He can’t take the heat but can sure give it out by attacking Fox news. While he considers the war on terror over Obama has declared war on a news network. He would like nothing better than to shut them down as well as Conservative talk radio especially Rush Limbaugh. Obama’s attendance at the repatriation of dead American servicemen was nothing more than a photo opportunity and shameful. He will not tell us if he will send the requested additional troops to Afghanistan but he’ll show up for a photo. To please the unions he decided to put a tariff on tires imported fro China. Some friend of China he is?

What is the long term outcome of his misdeeds? Yesterday’s off-year elections resulted in the Democrats losing a series of key elections including the governorships of Virginia and New Jersey. He is being compared with Jimmy Carter, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon. Carter was a one term disaster, Johnson was felled by welfare reform and the mishandling of a foreign war, and Nixon had an enemies list. Obama’s Immaturity and inexperience can result in an American tragedy!!
The Independents, youth, seniors are losing their trust in Obama and thinking twice about him!!! Democrats are beginning to worry about the 2010 elections. The have to hang on to Senate seats and House seats and that is making them nervous. The GOP is still weak from past elections when they took a beating. They must unite with Conservatives broaden and rebuild. They failed in upstate New York because they were not united. They must choose candidates who are responsive to the mood of their state’s electorate. After all Republicans are a Conservatives party and it remains to be seen if Republican candidates will stand on conservative principals and win the middle as did Republican Bob McDonnell in Virginia and Republican Chris Christie in New Jersey.
