Using dictatorial powers Sen. Harry Reid and leaders of the U.S. Senate forced a vote to Socialize and Nationalize healthcare. They totally ignored the will of the American people and the United States Constitution, while corrupting the legislative system. “This process is not legislation. This rush to pass this enormous bill turned into dirty deal making which enabled President Barack Obama to secure the 60 votes in the Senate needed to pass the bill. Nebraska’s Sen. Ben Nelson decided to vote yes after he was promised $45 million to completely cover his state’s medicaid bill every year forever.

This violates Article 1 Section 9 part 6 of the Constitution which says: ” No preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one state over another..” and Article 4 Section 2 which says: “The Citizens of each state shall be entitled to all the Privileges and Immunities of the Citizens in several states.”

This bribe is illegal!! Has Obama, Reid, or any of the 60 Democratic Senators who voted yes ever read the bill or the U.S. Constitution? I doubt It!!! The citizens of 49 states in the Union will have to pay the medical bill for the state of Nebraska forever funded by courtesy of the U.S. government (which means you and I.) Making the citizens of Nebraska more equal than any other American Obama encouraged this outrage by breaking the vows he took to uphold the U.S. Constitution when he raised his hand to recite the oath of office.

The U.S. Senate in the middle of the night stripped us of our freedoms and the citizenry should be in full revolt because bribing and blackmailing is not acceptable in making legislation. As a matter of fact what they did do was to commit crimes against the people of this great nation. Everything was done secretly without any transparency hoping the American people were blind to their wrong doings. Backroom deals, taxpayer funded bribes and threats resulted in corruption. Congress, both the House and Senate,are acting as if they are members of the government of a third world country. They have ignored the Constitution in order to get favorable deals ridden corruption. The American people placed their faith and trust in Obama only to be cheated.
The complete take-over of healthcare by the government, while being a historic change, it will have an impact on every aspect of our society for many generations. Obama has used fear-mongering rhetoric to avoid lengthy and open debate arguing the federal government will go bankrupt without healthcare legislation. If it is so important why is it necessary to bribe legislatures. Honorable votes don’t require pay-offs and the process the Congress is using to pass this legislation is consist ant with being criminal. The Senator from Louisiana Mary Landrieu reported her state would receive $300 million in additional Medicare funding for her vote.
Sen. Ben Nelson was blackmailed by the White House into voting for the healthcare bill and if not Nebraska’s Offutt Air Force Base would be closed. The base employs 10,000 people and is the home for the Strategic Command. This is disgraceful because the White House was using national security as a bargaining chip to pass the healthcare bill. The final bribe of course was that Nebraska would be exempt from paying for Medicare expansion forever shifting the burden to the 49 other states.
What can defeat this monstrosity? Public outrage, the abortion issue, additional taxes, the Blue Dog Democrats, and the progressives (the left) because the public option was dropped. In 2010, we will have the concern as to whether the Democrats can pass the bill and in 2010 and 2012, if the Republicans can make the gains needed politically to retake the Congress and the White House. This will be necessary in order to repeal it.
